Fire & Hops Beer Dinner

Thursday, August 25th from 6:30 – 8:30pm: Fire & Hops The evening will feature four courses of food, each paired with a beer specifically picked to enhance the culinary experience. The evening begins with a welcome beer cocktail and then moves through four courses. Local craft beer from Black Hog Brewing Co. of Oxford will be featured. Iron & Grain Co. founder, Tate Norden, selected Black Hog for many of the pairings because they are “talented and innovative brewers” with an eye toward pairing beer with food. Iron & Grain Co. is one of West Hartford’s newest mobile food establishments. The food truck is housed in a refurbished 1959 Chevy Viking and comes complete with a wood fired oven to cook fresh and locally sourced foods over an open flame. Chef Adam Belward is a veteran who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan is a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America. Tickets are $60, and the price includes all food and drink during the evening. Seating is limited for this one-night-only event. You must be 21 years or older to participate in the event and valid ID will be required.
