I was invited to a blogger event last night at The Shoppes at Farmington Valley. I personally love this outdoor shopping center and we are there at least 4-5 times a month. The event last night focused on 6 different businesses in the shopping center. We started the night out with drinks and sushi at Feng Asian Bistro. As you can see from the images below, the drinks (Summer Sangria and Asian Pear Martini) and the sushi (the wonton was my favorite – right and center below) were amazingly delicious and scrumptious. We took over their patio and really had a blast – with great service and ambiance!
The Shoppes at Farmington Valley’s management team met up with us for dinner and not only picked up the bill but also surprised us with swag bags which included a $25 gift card, which I partially spent on this awesome shirt (see below) from JCrew. The team at JCrew and at the LOFT had sparking water and snacks out for us – which was so sweet, especially on another warm night. By the way, I just found out that this tee also comes in kids’ sizes.
Our swag bags included a cell phone on-the-go charger from Simply Mac, a must have for every mom! Do you have one? I can say I now do, thanks again to the Shoppes at Farmington Valley and Simply Mac..
Our night would not have been complete if we hadn’t visited the wonderful staff at O’Live A Little – who even surprised us with a gift bag of these goodies on the way out. We were greeting by a friendly staff who toured us around their store and gave us real cheesecake – featuring a dessert cheese drizzled with balsamic vinegar, shown in the bottom right pic.
A big shout out to The Shoppes at Farmington Valley and A Little Bird Told Me for the invitation last night! Thanks again to Feng Asian Bistro for fantastic foods and drinks. Thanks to the Shoppes at Farmington Valley for the $25 gift card and to the O’Live A Little for their gracious gift bag, filled with store goodies.
Our swag bags also included a free haircut for my daughter at Snip-its, a free class card to Barre3 (who has free daycare for patrons) and a free aromatherapy, deep muscle therapy or foot scrub therapy at Massage Envy.
We have been told that we will be invited back and be able to visit 4-5 other stores and another restaurant again soon. I can’t wait!
Disclaimer: As part of the Blogger event at the Shoppes at Farmington Valley, I received complimentary food and drinks as well as a swag bag filled with goods and services and another goody bag from a partner store – however opinions expressed our solely my own.
