Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th from our family to yours! For most, it’s a day full of barbeques or beach and pool inspired celebrations. For those who are looking for some local fireworks displays today, here are just a couple of ideas.

5pm: The 24th Annual Great American Boom The recreation department will have an entire fleet of attractions set up for the public’s enjoyment and includes giant trampolines, carnival games, a photo booth, interactive inflatables, pony rides, micro derby car races, caricature artist, face painters, pony rides, along with many other attractions. A $5 wristband will need to be purchased. There will also be a family 4-pack for $15, which will allow for unlimited access to all the attractions from 5 – 8:30 pm. Fireworks start at approximately 9:15pm. Food is available for purchase. {Hop, Skip & a Jump} 10pm: 3D Fireworks Have a blast this July 4th at the Quassy special 3D fireworks presentation after dark to benefit Healthy Eyes Alliance. Viewing glasses will be sold for $1. Parking $10 on July 4th. Quassy Amusement Park, Middletown
