I recently had the opportunity to meet Christine, a local massage therapist based out of Avon and owner of Ocean Essence Therapy. Christina is a graduate of New York College of Health Professions. She is dedicated to helping people achieve their optimal well being with a strong understanding of the how to help restore balance. She is a resident in the Farmington Valley area and loves to hike, kayak and enjoy all of New England’s beauty with her family.
The massage I had was amazing, being a mom takes such a toll on the body, it feels we are moving all the time. It really felt amazing to take sometime for myself and to treat myself to such an elaborate gift that gives back when its redeemed. With Valentine’s Day coming up, this sounds like a great gift idea for your spouse and to top it off Christine is offering a 30% discount off of her one hour massage, so you can get a massage for $50 (our readers only) in the month of January and February.
What I remember most about the massage I had was how comfortable Christine made me feel, the subtle relaxing music in the background, the soothing sensation to all of my painful areas especially my upper back. I walked out of their office feeling anew and refreshed and ready for whatever momhood would throw me.
Christine is trained in a variety of modalities, including the ever-popular swedish, deep tissue, acupressure, sports, prenatal and other massage techniques. Christine also offers gift certificates, packages for repeat visitors with savings and is available weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm by appointment only. Christine is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
I received a free massage in turn for my honest and real review.
